Today in class we read “a rose for emily” on commitlit. We answered questions together as a class. We also took turns reading paragraphs. At the end of class we watched the movie version of a rose for emily. It helped me understand it more.

The old me used to obsess about popularity. How many friends I had. Whether I was known on instagram or not and it was so meaningless. Popularity and having a lot of friends dont mean nothing. I learned that having a few are enough in life.

Have you ever seen those rides at the fair where they go all around? Yea Im talking about that. I remember getting on the ride with my older brother because he kept pushing to get on the ride. By the time we got on I knew it was over and too late to get off. After that ride, I´m never getting on the rides that go all around again.

After high school, I've made up my mind on what I want to major in. I want to major in cosmetology because currently im taking cosmetology at crosskeys. I've realized my passion for the class and its something I would want to do. I plan on continuing being friends with my close friends too. I also hope the guy Im currently with will end up being my highschool sweetheart.
